Our story is my favorite. Last year I got a text from Christina, a friend in North Carolina. She wanted to know if I would be interested in her introducing me to a friend of hers. She sent me Jacob’s picture and told me what kind of man he was. She was very accurate. I said yes.

A few days later I got a text from Jacob, introducing himself. This began two months of texting back and forth…him in North Carolina and me in Florida. He was super patient with me, and was persistent. I was determined that if he wanted a relationship with me, then he would have to pursue me. And he did. By the end of February our frequency of texting jumped up and we got to know each other better. While I was sitting in an airplane waiting for take off he sent me a text asking to come to Florida to take me out. I was still unsure. But after some encouragement from friends, I told him yes.

Texting turned to phone calls, and FaceTime…and a planned visit to Florida. We went from talking on a frequent basis, to all the time….throughout the day and late at night. We knew from that point that we knew we wanted to be together. ❤️
